You’re cruising downtown Pensacola, FL on a warm summer morning, packed and ready for a day at Sanders Beach, and you want a smooth, confident ride. For that, your engine oil has to be in top shape. At Allen Turner Genesis, we specialize in Genesis care—and that starts with oil change service done right.
Our expert technicians provide comprehensive and reliable maintenance to ensure your vehicle runs smoothly for years to come.
Scheduling routine oil care gives your engine a much easier workload. Fresh oil cushions for fast-moving components, assist with temperature regulation, and sweeps away impurities that tend to collect during everyday use.
As mileage increases, oil loses its original consistency and begins to accumulate particles. Old fluid can thicken, forcing the engine to work harder than it should.
By refreshing your oil with our service center on a consistent schedule, you support steadier performance across every mile. This simple maintenance step reinforces fuel efficiency, limits long-term wear, and helps retain strong output.
While Genesis’s are equipped with advanced monitoring systems, there are still key indicators that it may be due for service:
Ignoring these signs can lead to long-term engine damage. Staying proactive with oil changes helps maintain performance, fuel efficiency, and reliability.
Keeping your Genesis maintained shouldn’t feel like a burden. At our service center, we offer rotating service offers, including oil change discounts, bundled maintenance offers, and complimentary perks such as inspections. That helps you care for your vehicle without overspending.
Enjoy the convenience of Genesis Service Valet, an ownership benefit that allows you to have your vehicle serviced without leaving your home or office. A valet will pick up your vehicle for maintenance and return it once it's done. Additionally, if required, the valet can provide a loaner or transport you to and from the retailer.
Some newer vehicles monitor oil automatically and display the level in the instrument cluster or center screen. Check your owner’s manual to see if your vehicle has this feature.
If your car uses a dipstick, park on level ground, turn the engine off, and open the hood. Locate the dipstick, pull it out, wipe it clean, reinsert it fully, then remove it again to read the level. The oil should fall between the lower and upper marks.
If the level is at or below the lower mark, add a quart of the recommended oil, wait a few minutes, and recheck. The oil only needs to sit between the marked indicators for safe operation.*
The most reliable way to find the correct oil is to check your owner’s manual. Look in the index under “engine oil” to find the recommended type and viscosity.
You can also open the hood and check the oil cap. Many manufacturers print the required oil grade directly on the cap for quick reference.2
Engine oil comes in three main types.
Always check your owner’s manual to confirm the correct oil type and change interval for your specific vehicle.
